Hi, I'm Abby!

AEL Therapy

I am a mom of three and a therapist who understands firsthand how motherhood can be both beautiful and deeply challenging. Like many of the parents I work with, I’ve had my own ups and downs in this season of life. Those experiences have shaped not only who I am as a mom, but also how I show up as a therapist, which is with empathy, honesty, and a deep respect for the complexity of parenthood.

In my practice, I blend professional knowledge with real-life understanding. I believe that therapy works best when it feels like a genuine connection. It is a space where you can show up as your full self and be met with compassion and curiosity. I've sat on the couch of therapy myself for many years. I know the fear that can arise in asking, "Is this normal?" "Am I a good mom?" "Why do I keep yelling at my child?" I know the stress of motherhood, and whether you reach out to me or another therapist, let me tell you, good moms struggle. Good moms also ask for help, so be proud of yourself for taking this step.

Welcome!

I work with moms and couples in the thick of parenthood, that stretch of life that’s both deeply meaningful and incredibly demanding. It’s the season where identities shift, relationships get tested, and the version of “you” that existed before kids might feel a little out of reach. I want to offer a space where you can slow down, make sense of what’s happening, and reconnect with yourself and the people who matter most.

I’m a relational therapist, which means I believe that healing and growth happen through connection — both in our work together and in your life beyond therapy. I take time to truly get to know you: your story, your patterns, your strengths, and the systems you’re part of, whether that’s your family, your partnership, or the broader world around you.

My approach is holistic and collaborative. I see each person as more than the challenges they’re facing — as a whole, multifaceted human shaped by both past experiences and present realities. Together, we’ll explore what’s working, what’s feeling stuck, and how to move toward more balance, fulfillment, and connection in this season of life.

If this sounds like the kind of space you’re looking for, I’d love to connect and help you take that next step toward the life and relationships you want.
