Hi, I'm Abby!
AEL Therapy
I’m a mom of three and a therapist who gets it. Motherhood can be both beautiful and deeply challenging, and the shifts it brings don’t just affect how you parent—they affect your relationship, your identity, your energy, and the ways you connect with the people you love.
Like many of the parents I work with, I’ve had my own ups and downs in this season of life. These experiences didn’t just shape who I am as a mom; they shape how I show up as a therapist: with empathy, honesty, and deep respect for the complexity of parenthood.
I blend professional knowledge with real-life understanding because I believe therapy works best when it feels like a genuine connection. This is a space where you can show up as your full self and be met with curiosity, compassion, and real support.
You might be asking yourself:
-
“Is this normal?”
-
“Am I a good mom?”
-
“Why does this feel so hard?”
-
“Why do I keep snapping... or shutting down?”
You’re not alone in those questions, and struggling doesn’t mean something is wrong. Good moms struggle, and good moms ask for help. You should be proud of yourself for taking this step.

My Approach

I’m a relational therapist, which means I believe lasting healing and growth happen through connection—both in our work together and in your life beyond therapy. I take time to truly know you: your story, your patterns, your strengths, and the relationships you care about most—whether that’s with yourself, your partner, or your family.
My approach is holistic and collaborative. I see you as a whole person shaped by both past experiences and present realities. Together, we’ll explore:
-
What’s working
-
What feels stuck
-
What’s changed since becoming a parent
-
How to build connection, balance, and fulfillment in this season of life
