Relationships often feel the most strained during seasons of stress or transition. Many couples come to therapy feeling stuck in recurring conflict, emotionally disconnected, navigating resentment, or unsure how intimacy became so complicated. Others notice an uneven mental or domestic load (like feeling alone during the night feedings or the financial pressure of the whole household), difficulty communicating needs, or avoidance around sex and closeness altogether.
As a sex therapist, I help couples understand how stress, unmet needs, and life demands impact both emotional and physical connection. Together, we work to identify unhelpful patterns, improve communication, rebalance mental load, and rebuild intimacy in ways that feel realistic and sustainable. I use evidence-based approaches, including sensate focus therapy, Gottman couples therapy, and Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) to support couples in reconnecting with each other without pressure, blame, or shame. My goal is to help you feel like partners again, not opponents.
